Flow Chemistry Orchestration Software
Unattended sequencing of modular flow-chemistry hardware.
The software platform that orchestrates our modular flow-chemistry hardware — pumps, valves, reactors, photoreactors and inline UV/VIS — to run long reaction programmes automatically while minimising reagent use.
We designed a modular series of flow chemistry products which are orchestrated by our software. Our modules comprise high pressure (HPLC) pumps, chemically-resistant valves, pressure sensors, coil and column reactors, photoreactors, heated coil reactors, in-flow UV/Visible fibre optic spectrometers, and liquid handlers. We can also integrate with common industry components such as mass flow controllers, chillers, heaters. Our software can sequence long flow chemistry reaction programmes to automatically explore the effects of stoichiometry, pressure, temperature, reaction time, and light exposure, with no operator intervention. Precise sequencing of valves and use of in-line spectroscopy guarantees that the absolute minimum of expensive reagents are used to achieve a steady-state output, and liquid handlers allow representative samples from the output product to be saved.
Core Capabilities
Closed-loop automation across the whole flow-chemistry rig.
- Unattended sequencing — Runs long reaction programmes with no operator intervention.
- Parameter exploration — Automatically varies stoichiometry, pressure, temperature, time and light.
- Reagent-minimising control — In-line spectroscopy + valve sequencing reach steady state with minimal reagent.
- Whole-rig integration — Drives pumps, valves, reactors, photoreactors, spectrometers and liquid handlers.
- Automated sampling — Liquid handlers save representative product samples.
- Unattended — Hands-off reaction sequencing
- Min. reagent — Steady-state with least waste
